If you already use flashcards in Anki, you can upload them into Oncourse to have them be enhanced by AI and be available everywhere— across your phone, tablet, PC or laptop!
Step 1: Export from Anki (if you don't already have an apkg)
Click the gear icon next to your deck (or go to File > Export for the entire collection)
Choose the .apkg export format and ensure the correct deck is selected.
Check all boxes: scheduling info, deck presets, media, and support for older Anki versions.
Click Export and save the file.

Step 2: Import to Oncourse
In Oncourse, navigate to Flashcards > Create > Import to Anki or click this URL.
Drag and drop or choose your .apkg file to be uploaded
Let the file upload
Wait and make yourself some coffee (or drink of your choice). This is optional :P
You will be notified on email when the import and processing is done
You can click "Start Recall" to have the deck be shown in your spaced repetition algorithm. Congratulations!
Current Limitations
Most Anki note types import into Oncourse—including basic flashcards, cloze cards, image occlusion cards (both native and enhanced), and most custom notes. However, due to differences in flashcard modeling between Oncourse and Anki, a few limitations apply:
File Size. You can upload a .apkg file upto 1 GB in size and number of cards under 60,000.
CSS Customizations: Custom CSS used in Anki isn’t imported, so card appearance may change. Custom CSS in RemNote might help replicate the original formatting.
Audio, video or GIF files: Audio files currently aren't supported. You can contact us if you'd like to access them.
Image Occlusion: These must retain their original note and field names for successful import. If you’ve renamed them, adjust them in Anki first.
